How do I book a grooming appointment?
The easiest way is through our online booking form, or you can email us at contact@chulapawz.com. Let us know your dog’s breed, size, and the service you’d like, and we’ll get you scheduled.
How long does a grooming appointment take?
Most full grooms take about 2 to 4 hours depending on your dog’s size, coat type, and condition. We’ll give you a time estimate at drop-off so you can plan your day.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Most dogs do well with grooming every 4 to 8 weeks. Doodles, Poodles, and double-coated breeds often benefit from more frequent visits to stay comfortable and mat-free.
Health & Safety
Do you require proof of vaccinations?
Yes. For the safety of every pet in our care, we ask that dogs be up to date on their rabies and core vaccinations. You’re welcome to bring records or have your vet send them over.
My dog is anxious or nervous — can you still groom them?
Absolutely. We specialize in gentle, low-stress handling and take extra time with anxious and nervous dogs as well as senior pups. Your dog’s comfort always comes first.
What happens if my dog is matted?
We never want to cause your dog pain. Severe matting can pull on the skin, so it sometimes calls for a shorter cut for your dog’s comfort and safety. We’ll always walk you through the options before we begin. Learn more about de-matting.

What’s included in a full groom?
A full groom includes a bath, blow-dry, brush-out, haircut or style, nail trim, and ear cleaning — your pup leaves clean, comfortable, and looking their best.
Do you offer pick-up and drop-off?
Yes! We offer convenient pick-up and drop-off in the Saint George area for busy pet parents. Ask about availability when you book.
