CHULA PAWZ GROOMING STUDIO — SAINT GEORGE, UTAH
De-Shedding Treatment
Less fur on your couch — more comfort for your dog.
If fur is taking over your house, car, and wardrobe, a professional de-shedding treatment makes a dramatic difference. It’s ideal for double-coated breeds like Huskies, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Labs, and Corgis.
What’s included
An undercoat-release shampoo and conditioner, a high-velocity blow-out that safely lifts loose undercoat, careful undercoat raking and brush-out, plus a nail trim and ear cleaning. The result: a remarkable pile of fur that ends up in our bin instead of on your sofa.

During spring and fall coat blows, de-shedding every 4–6 weeks keeps things under control. In St. George’s warm climate, many double-coated dogs shed year-round, so a regular 6–8 week schedule works well.
A note on shaving
We don’t recommend shaving double-coated breeds — their coat insulates them from heat and protects against sunburn, which matters in our desert sun. De-shedding achieves the comfort without the damage.
